Monaghan County Council is seeking public input on transportation needs along the Ballybay to Carrickmacross corridor via Lough Egish. The council has launched a comprehensive survey to understand current transport patterns and project future requirements for the area.

Cork County Council, in partnership with Skibbereen Geriatric Society, has initiated a Part 8 planning process for a housing development at Mardyke Street, Skibbereen (Coronea townland). The proposed development comprises 8 one-bedroom apartment units, complete with landscaped communal areas, 3 visitor parking spaces, soft landscaping with green spaces and trees, connections to public utilities, and associated site works.

South Dublin County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for upgrade works at the entrance and route into Lucan Demesne Park, in the townland of Lucan. The proposed development comprises a 105m timber boardwalk (ranging from 2-3m in width and 150mm to 900mm in elevation), removal of existing pathway for natural reinstatement, comprehensive landscaping, and associated site works.

Donegal County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for a social housing development at Oldtown, Letterkenny. The proposed development comprises 12 apartments and 4 semi-detached houses, complete with a new vehicular entrance onto Gaeltex Drive, parking facilities, and associated site works.

Limerick City and County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for improvements to Monument Hill Walk at Marine Cove, Foynes. The project includes re-grading existing concrete stairs, creating a new viewing area, installing boundary fencing, reconfiguring the walking trail to the Stephen Edmond Spring Rice Memorial Cross Monument, and developing informal play areas.

Cork City Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for significant improvements to the road network connecting the South Docklands to the City Centre. The scheme aims to enhance accessibility, safety, and capacity across all transport modes, with an emphasis on sustainable travel options.

Waterford City and County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for a new southern entrance to the transport hub at the North Quays SDZ in Ferrybank. The development includes curved entrance steps, a passenger lift, terraced planters, control gates, external paving, and an extended roof canopy structure.

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage has launched the first of three public consultations in the development of Ireland's fourth-cycle Water Action Plan. This initial consultation seeks views on the timetable and work programme for developing the plan, which will be published in December 2027.

The National Transport Authority has launched a consultation on proposed improvements to bus services across West Clare. The plan includes significant changes to existing routes and the introduction of new services to enhance connectivity along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland has launched a consultation on proposed changes to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system for pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants. The amendments will update the PSI (Continuing Professional Development) and PSI (Registration) Rules.

Cork County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for the Kinsale Active Travel Project, which aims to enhance sustainable transport infrastructure across multiple locations in Kinsale including Compass Quay, Ballynacubby relief road, Abbeylands, Bandon Road, Cappagh Road, and Roseabbey Park.

Cork County Council

Cork County Council, in partnership with Midleton Lions Club, has initiated a Part 8 planning process for a new residential development at Distillery Lane, Midleton. The proposed six-storey development comprises 16 one-bedroom apartments, a community common room, and a secured walled garden, with restoration of historic stone walls.

Dublin City Council's Housing and Community Department is seeking public feedback on a proposal to extinguish the public vehicular right of way over the no-through section of Hardwicke Street, Dublin 1. The proposal aims to facilitate the installation of an automated vehicular access gate that would restrict parking access to residents of Rory O'Connor House and Dermot O'Dwyer House.

Galway County Council has published the Draft Local Area Plan 2025-2031 for Gort, along with associated documents including a Local Transport Plan, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Appropriate Assessment, and Strategic Flood Risk Assessment. This comprehensive suite of planning documents will guide Gort's development over the next six years.

The National Transport Authority has launched a public consultation on proposed improvements to bus services between Glendalough and Bray. The enhancements include a new seven-day service connecting Laragh, Annamoe, Roundwood, and Kilmacanogue, with five daily return journeys on weekdays.

Waterford City and County Council has launched a public consultation on its draft Noise Action Plan, which aims to address and reduce road noise levels across the county. The plan focuses on developing strategies to limit exposure to undesirable noise levels while protecting naturally quiet areas.

Uisce Éireann has launched a public consultation on its proposed Water Supply Project for the Eastern and Midlands Region, one of Ireland's largest ever infrastructure programmes. The project aims to reduce Dublin's reliance on the River Liffey and meet projected water demand increases of 34% by 2044.
